Sponsorship Opportunities

Clubs like Currie RFC depend on a variety of funding sources to maintain the extensive scope of age-group activities that makes CRFC one of Scotland’s most successful and enterprising clubs.

Sponsorship, by businesses and individuals, is a vital ingredient in the recipe of community support that makes CRFC tick. The club offers a wide and varied menu of sponsorship opportunities to suit all pockets and interests. This ranges from direct support of the playing sides (minis through to First XV) or help to maintain and improve the fabric of the clubhouse and grounds. While the main support sought is financial, the supply of kit, equipment or other provisions is all equally welcome.

CRFC sees sponsorship as a two-way partnership which works to mutual benefit. To that end, each sponsor will be invited individually to discuss how the club can best help that sponsor. A list of sponsorship ideas is listed in the menu (below) but if you have your own suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact Iain Pert . All sponsors will be featured on our website.

As part of our ongoing efforts to broaden the range of sponsorship opportunities at CRFC, Season 2005-06 sees the introduction of 'player sponsorship'. The financial donations made through this will go directly towards helping the club fund players' kit, travel expenses, player insurance and medical/physiotherapy costs.

Essentially, businesses or private individuals are invited to sponsor a First XV player of their choice, subject to availability. The cost for this is £100 for the season and brings with it the following features:

• Company logo or sponsor name listed alongside player's name in match programme.
• Company logo or sponsor name attached to player's photograph displayed in clubhouse.
• Company logo or sponsor name attached to list of Club Sponsors on website.
• Company logo or sponsor name attached to player's Personal Biography on website.
• Signed photograph presented to sponsor at end of season.
• A complimentary pre-match lunch for two at a home game of the sponsor's choice.

Our first sponsors are beginning to step forward and some favourite players have already been selected, e.g. Club Captain, Andy Adam, Graeme Moffat, Anton Edwards from Wellington, and Mark Cairns. So the rest of the squad is up for grabs.
